What day is it? Idk 5 or something?

Quote of the day, “hey guys, we’re 5% done.” -Brian … “that’s like me saying hey guys we are 3% done yesterday.” - Dustin

Hey y’all, it’s ya boi Dustin again. This morning was interesting: I woke up at 1 am because I was really thirsty from drinking too much beer the night before… then I realized.. huhhhh… my waters in the car, and Julia has the key… so I turned on my bike headlight to use as a flashlight and absolutely BLINDED myself. I got up and grabbed one of the empty water bottles out of my bike, and not trying to wake up Julia, put it out in the rain with the cap off hoping it would collect enough water to quench my thirst… and to put a long story short, it didn’t collect any water, and I also woke up julia… (but didn’t get the keys). So in the morning I downed a bunch of water and felt better.

So we saw that we were going to have to climb literallly three mountains (one of which we accidentally climbed yesterday looking for the campground and had to come back down)… sooooooooooooo we sold out and used Jon to drive us up to the second peak, but our bike rack only fits two bike so we left brian behind and Julia and I started descending the second mountain and climbing the third. Lucky for brian - julia and I got to the top before he and Jon got there (after he went back to the campsite to pick him up).

So we took some pictures at the Washington Pass sign (5,400ish feet up) that me and Julia actually summitted and brian got there somehow *look left, looks right*. By the way it was cold as frick up there! There was snow everywhere so please enjoy this picture of me laying in the snow on the side of the road. https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1TTanfRcaEDBPlfsE4VTzRL3QaQV_tMof

Then we rode the remaining 35 miles all the way down the mountain to Winthrop. I felt like one of them laser beams going to down that road at like 35 mph. And because we were going that fast we got to Winthrop in NO TIME. And it was damn near the cutest little western town we’ve ever seen!

We got some great ice cream and went to my new favorite store:https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1Upczi1AbECV7dPAj9143bZGzVcIvBRwo
To get some butane/propane mix to cook my chef boyardee raviolis that I picked up at the general store *chef’s kiss*. Anyway - the day his been wonderful (hard uphills, cold, mountains, warm, valleys, and western towns where everyone has some weird southern/midwestern hybrid accent). We’re going to another brewery now (I’ll try not to wake up Julia tonight to get water) We'll see you all tomorrow after another mountain climb! Cheers!
